Vacation

The work hiatus is over :( We returned from Vegas last Tuesday and had a great time. No we are not millionaires now but definitely more relaxed and tan! We had a blast and enjoyed the hot sun and lounging by the pool. We saw an AMAZING show (musical) called Jersey Boys. Its about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and their journey into stardom. You might know some of their songs... Walk Like a Man, Sherry Baby, You're Just Too Good to Be True, Big Girls Don't Cry, just to name a few. If you like that 50's, 60's-ish music or your parents (we totally wished both our parents were with us) like it GO SEE IT. They are playing all over the US and of course in vegas and NYC. We had so much fun in vegas. Sushi buffet at the recommendation of Dr. Dave was AMAZING. I think we each ate 30 rolls or at least it felt like it. We really enjoyed the pool and just relaxing. We brought our own floats from target to Vegas and were the envy of the pool. People kept asking us where we got them.


We also saw Ray Romano and Kevin James do stand up. They did their own standup and then some together. Leah Remini (Kevin James' wife on the King of Queens) was in the audience and they brought her up on stage. It was pretty great. I tried to upload the video with no success. I will try again later. When we returned to Michigan it still felt like we were on vacation. But after a day or so it felt like home again. Weird. We went to the Buick open Pro Am. It was great fun. We got to see the interesting pairing of John Daly and Kid Rock. Two classy guys. We saw Daly tee off a 24oz beer can (you can kinda see us on the video on you tube). By the end of the day Kid Rock had no shirt on under his overalls and they both had about 20 beers by then. I did get Kid Rock to sign a golf ball and then being the graceful swan that I am ... I dropped it and smudged the signature!






Then we went to a Tigers game and sat in these amazing seats that were HUGE and cushioned and we had our own waitress right behind home plate. It was so nice.



All in all it was a great week. We are looking forward to our July visitors. Its been raining a lot so hopefully that will die down before they get here. We will post more pictures later. We are both working a lot the rest of the week so we will update more later. here is a final picture of us being silly in vegas throwing the Gonzales Peace sign that is so popular in all of the family pics. We were trying to out do the boys but I think they are much cuter when they "chunk the deuce".
